Techs Can Earn CE Credits by Attending Insurers’ Forum at Auto Glass Week™
The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) will hold an Insurers' CEU Forum for the insurance community on Wednesday, September 26, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants, including AGSC Certified Technicians, can earn three continuing education credits for their participation in the forum—one credit in installation topics and two credits in standards and information.

Quarter Glass Removal Tools
“Within the past few years there’s been an introduction of a new class of tools that I think warrants some discussion. These tools are produced by various manufacturers with names like the Rammer Jammer™, GT Tools™ Quarter Cutter™, and the Equalizer® Push Knife. These types of tools are designed to take some of the ‘power’ away from the tool and give the control back to the technician. Think less violence and more control.” –Bob Beranek

Mark Your Calendar for 2018 AGSC Member Meeting
The Auto Glass Safety Council™ will hold its annual member meeting on Wednesday, September 26, in San Antonio, Texas, just before Auto Glass Week™ gets underway. Auto Glass Week 2018 will be held Thursday through Saturday, September 27-29, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The host hotel is the Hyatt Regency San Antonio.

Complimentary Regional Training Programs Planned Throughout the Year
The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) will hold a number of regional certification training courses throughout the year across the United States. These are a great opportunity for technicians to take a refresher course prior to renewing their certifications. Each session will include a three-hour training course, along with time to take the certification exam. The courses will be led by Bob Beranek, owner of Automotive Glass Consultants and chair of the AGSC AGRSS™ Standards Committee.
