Welcome These Master Auto Glass Technicians
A number of auto glass technicians passed the Auto Glass Safety Council™’s (AGSC) Master Auto Glass Technician certification exam during the month of August. The exam is an online test consisting of 70 multiple choice questions. Those who apply to become Master Auto Glass Technicians must have experience and knowledge in: OSHA-required employee safety regulations; conducting all installations according to the current ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ Standard."

The Auto Glass Safety Council™'s (AGSC) Insurers' CEU Forum has been approved in nine states across the United States. Insurance agents and representatives in Florida, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Michigan and Virginia can earn CE credits by attending the course.

The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) will hold a technician training accreditation program in West Palm Beach, Fla., in October. The course will be held on Friday, October 6, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The exam will follow at 2 p.m. that day.

NHTSA Launches Self-Driving Car Education Website
On Tuesday, the government announced new guidelines for self-driving car regulation, and today it's launching a consumer education campaign. New cars are full of lifesaving safety technology, but according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, many vehicle owners don't understand what these features do or how best to use them. To remedy this, NHTSA launched a website dedicated to demystifying driver assistance technologies, the Automated Vehicles for Safety webpage.
