AGSC Offers Video in
Online Format for Members

The Auto Glass Safety Council™ (AGSC) has created an online format through which members can place its recently created video on their websites. The video, recently released in DVD format, was created for members to show to both insurance agents and customers.

The video is available in several different versions so that Registered Members can customize the one they use based on the audience they are targeting. The video provides a history of the AGSC along with a detailed look at why proper windshield installations are crucial. It also explains the importance of utilizing AGSC Registered Member Companies and provides an overview of the third-party validation program in which Registered Member Companies agree to participate.

“We have received a great response to the video so far, and believe having it available for our Registered Members to place on their websites will be a great resource,” says Kathy Bimber, director of operations. “We hope it will be widely viewed and can make a major impact on the industry.”

Registered Member Company representatives can download a link to the video on the members-only portion of the AGSC website.

The Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the safe replacement of auto glass. The AGSC was founded and is supported by companies in the auto glass replacement industry that keep safe installation as their primary goal and is an accredited American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards development organization. It has developed North America's only auto glass replacement standard, the AGRSS™ Standard (ANSI/AGSC/AGRSS™ Standard 003-2015), which addresses procedures, education and product performance.
